Ciao a tutti,
ho letto un paio di articoli che riportano un'intervista a Kazuto Yamaki in cui gli viene anche chiesto un aggiornamento sul Foveon full frame.
Non ho visto altri riferimenti sul forum, nel caso scusate il doppione.
Non sono ovviamente in grado di giudicare l'attendibilità o se sia solo un dare un calcio alla palla in avanti, ma mi sembrava la sezione giusta per postare l'informazione.
In ogni caso direi che siamo indietro, e come sappiamo non è detto che dal technology development si arrivi a un prodotto, ma almeno non ne certifica la chiusura.
Comunque quando il problema delle mie foto sarà avere il full frame ne avrò fatta di strada :))

Dal 2018 è un argomento che rispunta annualmente. Però dopo oltre 7 anni di prese per il sedere sarebbe ora di chiudere l'argomento definitivamente.

Foveon progress
Speaking of new cameras, there's also an update on the long-awaited Foveon sensor. Last year, Yamaki told us Sigma had collaborated with researchers at a Japanese university to develop the full-frame Foveon sensor. Now, he tells us that the collaboration is almost complete. "We actually have already moved to the next stage. So we are now making another prototype," he tells us.

That doesn't mean people should get too excited yet, though, as there's still a long road ahead. "Although our engineers are working very hard, the progress is a little bit slower than we had expected. They are making some progress, but it is still early – too early to go to mass production... But now we are moving to a more product-like development stage."
Inutile dire che spero tanto anch'io nel nuovo Foveon anche se l'attesa la vedo ancora lunga.
